Node image editor

creative coding 
ongoingA node based image processor for creative coders. The whole application is one open, endless workspace. You drop small building blocks (Nodes) onto it, link them into a chain, and watch the image change live as you go. 
Each block stays small and self contained, so making your own is about as easy as writing a few lines of code. The tool grows with the user and is endlessly expandable. Starting with a handful of nodes, working up to dozens, with nothing to unlock along the way.

It runs in the browser. Images are never uploaded anywhere, so privacy comes built in. Behind the scenes, a custom engine keeps everything responsive while still delivering crisp, full resolution exports.

HM 200 – Band 2

jul. 26HM 200 – Band 2 documents the first fifty years of Hochschule München (HM). I was hired by the Communication Design chair at HM to be part of the project team, responsible for the book‘s image production across more than 300 pages and 120 images.

Over the course of a year I digitised and restored historical archive material to a consistent print standard, and produced a new photographic series for the book: a typology of the uni‘s lecture halls.

The series presents German suburban architecture as sealed and hidden, reduced to hedges, walls, and partial facades. It reflects a neighborhood defined by withdrawal, isolation, and the quiet erosion of social connection.

Umverpackt

Umverpackt examines packaging as a system of recognition that precedes its content. The series presents everyday foods inside containers drawn from unrelated categories, renderd as photorealistic AI imagery in the visual grammar of commercial product photography.

POWER POINTS

The project POWER POINTS examines the transformation of European energy infrastructure since 2001. Drawing from the Google archives Earth and Street View, it produces an image series that shows how selected sites of European energy infrastructure have changed over 25 years.

The series follows two perspectives. Satellite images open up the macro view, revealing large-scale developments from a distance. Street View complements this with the micro view from the street, where change unfolds less direct and almost incidentally.

Over 22 million animal objects lie at rest in a Munich facility that resembles a bunker. Hidden from outside view and almost entirely buried beneath the earth’s surface, the storage rooms of the Zoological State Collection Munich are located here. This research institution collects, arranges and preserves zoological specimens, creating a place that grows more magical with every door you open.

It is almost 8:00 am in the morning. Stressed out Germans at Munich Central Station. Overtired commuters haul themselves from platform to platform, aware of no one but themselves. On the distance to the crowd, right in the middle of rush hour.
